Mzansi musician DJ Maphoriwsa will have to wait another week, as the court hearing his case has postponed hearing till another week.
DJ Maphorisa is charged with assaulting his girlfriend Thuli Phongolo. Just recently, the songstress had filed a case against him, claiming that he assaulted her after a gig they did together. It is alleged that the “Gqom Waves” singer felt disrespected when a man offered Thuli Phongolo a large sum of money when they were together at groove.
He reportedly did not show his displeasure there but when until they left for a different environment when the alleged assault took place.
At some point, it was rumoured that Thuli’s mother was the one who urged her to open a case against DJ Maphorisa. It was also reported that regretted opening the case against him. At any rate, the case is one now and DJ Maphorisa will have to reappear in court again when the court resumes sitting.
The Randburg Magistrate Court has postponed the case to July 12, and all eyes are on that date to see what will happen to the DJ. We might bring you more details on that, so tag along by following us on social media.
