Give people their flowers when they can still smell them. But, of course, not everyone gets to receive their flowers before they exit the material plane. Thuso Mbedu has just given her actor colleague Viola Davies after she won her first Grammy at the recently concluded Grammy Awards.
Viola Davis was given a Grammy for her audiobook “Finding Me” and earned her EGOT status – a big achievement for an actress in that not everyone gets to win an Emmy (E) a Grammy (G) an Oscar (O) and a Tony (T) award. There you get the meaning of what EGOT stands for.
For her latest achievement, Viola Davis became an object of praise across the world, and one of those who were happy to celebrate her publicly was the South African actress Thuso Mbedu.
In a post on her verified Instagram page, Thuso Mbedu shared scenes from flicks that featured both of them as well as pictures of them posing together and Viola Davis alone, with her Grammy award and in what appears to be her apartment.
