Thuso Mbedu Dismisses Claims She Helped Her Pal Makgotso M Bag A Role On “The Woman King”
Mzansi actress Thuso Mbedu has dismissed claims she helped her friend Makgotso M bag a role in the movie “The Woman King.”
Makgotso M will be playing the role of one of King Ghezo’s wives, and Thuso Mbedu is excited about it all.
In a post to her Instagram Story, Thuso Mbedu had shared the good news with her fans while also noting how excited she was. With her role in “The Woman King,” Makgotso M and Thuso Mbedu will be acting on the same flick for the second time.
Ordinarily, this should have been a cause for excitement, but some social media users think Makgotso M got the role on the strength of her friendship with Thuso Mbedu.
But Thuso Mbedu is having none of that nonsense. In a recent tweet, she noted her bestie auditioned for the role and got what she auditioned for.
She made it know she’s proud of her friend, adding that Makgotso M deserves all the goodies life has to offer. Also, according to her. Makgotso M got the role on her own merits and not through some relationship ladder. You can check out her post below.
Mak got a brief. She auditioned and got the role. I am very proud of umngani wami because she deserves all that’s good that the world has to offer. All credit goes to her. No ladders here.

Her words have not silenced the critic, though.
