Tiffany Haddish To Face Misdemeanour Charges Following DUI Arrest

“Girls Trip” star Tiffany Haddish is set to face misdemeanor charges following her DUI arrest.

American star Tiffany Haddish will reportedly face two misdemeanor charges after allegedly falling asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle. Haddish was reported to have been arrested in the early hours of Nov. 24.  The Beverly Hills Police Department had responded to a call about a woman who was stopped in the middle of Beverly Drive while the vehicle was running.

TMZ reported that the “Girls Trip” star had performed at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood in honor of its free Thanksgiving feast. She also performed in a stand-up show at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California, hours after the arrest. During the show, Haddish addressed the situation, according to an audio obtained from an audience member.

Replying to a question about what happened last night, Haddish said, “You tell me,” and added, “I had prayed to God to send me a man with a job, career, preferably in a uniform, and I answered my prayers.”

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed on Wednesday, 13 December, that the ‘Girls Trip’ star was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol and a misdemeanor count of driving with .08% blood alcohol content. Her arraignment and plea is scheduled for Dec. 22.
