In the world of entertainment, shades are nothing new. We see them all the time. What makes all the difference and causes the buzz – or the lack thereof – is the person throwing the shade and the person at whom the shade is thrown.
Naturally, of course, popular names translate to more buzz and interest – as happened recently with Tiffany Haddish. During a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Tiffany noted that she used to have a thing for Henry Cavill. She desired him so much because she thought he was very hot.
But a meeting with him snapped her to the reality that on-screen personality and the real-life Cavill might not be the same after all. In meeting him, she noticed just how awkward he was – not exactly the idea she had of him. The criticisms of him notwithstanding, she graciously admitted he’s got disarmingly good looks.
Cavill had said nothing about her take on him at the time of writing. Whether he would react to her interview is unclear. But then, Haddish is reconsidering her dating life, moving away from the celebrity universe of Raya to the wider universe of the Bumble dating app. She’s seemingly done with celebrity romance – for now.
