Timothée Chalamet Matches John Travolta’s Box Office Record

Records are made and records are broken and sometimes records are shared – as we have just seen in the case of filmmakers John Travolta and Timothée Chalamet.

Travolta had the record of the record of having two top-grossing films for the past four decades – a personal record. But there’s been a change, as Timothée Chalamet has now joined him in the same league.

What makes Chalamety especially stand out is that he was able to snag this record in eight months, another personal milestone,

Interestingly, the man who has held the record for decades is only too happy to see Chalamet join him at the top. Taking to Instagram, Travolta had congratulated Chalamet on joining him at the top – what some would rather call film royalty.

In his post, Travolta not only congratulated Chalamet, but he also pointed out that it is great to have someone to share his box office records with. You can check out the post below.

With this record, Chalamet is just one step away from beating Travolta’s record, and vice versa. Of course, all eyes are now on the film scene to see which of them will snag a third record.

By the way, Chalamet joined Travolta at the top for the films “Wonka” and “Dune – Part Two.”
