Celebrated singer Tina Turner has lost her son Ronnie to Cancer. The songstress shared the sad news on her verified Instagram page with a page of her, eyes shut, apparently in a reflective moment.

Ronnie’s wife Afida Turner also shared the news about her late husband, who recently survived cancer only to die later of the same affliction, she note that he was a terrific n]musician and bass player with an amazing soul.
She noted that the last three weeks of his cancer battle were especially terrible. Ultimately, he didn’t make it, and she’s shattered.
Ronnie, 62, was just as accomplished a musician as his parents Ike and Tina Turner. Not surprisingly, the news of his passing came as a shock to many, some of whom readily admit the impact he made on their lives before he died.
The singer will be missed for his soulful voice and his electrifying performances.
