It is a season of recollections for many people who knew the celebrated singer Tina Turner, who recently died in her Zurich, Switzerland, home at the age of 83, including Oprah Winfrey.
While the songstress was alive, she apparently had a close relationship with the reality show host and entrepreneur and the two of them had a wonderful time at some point.
This much became apparent recently when Turner’s death was officially announced and Winfrey got wind of it. She had taken to her verified Instagram page to recall the moment they shared the same stage. The occasion was the queen of rock ‘n’ roll’s “Wildest Dreams” tour in Los Angeles.
According to Oprah, she was somewhat nervous and her knees were brushing against each other, She learned a lot from Tina and believed many other women did the same because the songstress always encouraged them to always put themselves out there and stand out in all they do.
