Travis Scott and Drake’s chart-topping hit “Sicko Mode” earns a diamond certification.
We must say, it has been Travis Scott’s year. The Hip Hop star has been making wise choices concerning his music and his brand, and they’ve all paid off big time. He might as well check “Diamond certification” off his list of accomplishments because his 2018 hit song, “Sicko Mode” just reached Diamond status.
Crazy right? The joint featuring Drizzy Drake has become Travis’s most successful song to date. We can’t deny that it has had a lot of impact in the game since it was released. Looking at the list of credits for the song, there’s a total of 29 composers on it. Absolutely nuts. There’s certainly going to be a lot of celebrating in their camp.
Of course, Travis knew “Sicko Mode” was going to be massive from the moment he heard Drake’s “Checks over stripes” bar. His reaction to it was priceless. Scott has had an amazing year, partnering up with well known brands and earning massively from the partnerships.
“Sicko Mode” has become one of Hip Hop’s most defining songs releases in the 2010s. It must be nice to have his name on a song that huge. Check out the stunning video below.
