Travis Scott Sets New All-Time Record On Fortnite

American rap artist Travis Scott sets a new record on the Fortnite virtual gaming platform.

The rapper had been rumored to be a part of the gaming platform and later a major leak came out, with the big announcement for the virtual performance coming up few weeks later.

The “Astronomical” virtual performance by Travis Scott broke the Fortnite’s platform’s all time record for most views at a time during a live stream with a total 12.3 million beating Mashmello’s record in February 2019.

Travis Scott put on a good show, displayed by an animated version of him on Thursday 23rd of April 2020. The performance which was roughly 15 minutes long saw him perform his hit singles like “Highest in the room”, he also performed his new track with Kid Cudi tagged “The Scotts”.

The event got a total of  12.3 million views which beats Mashmello’s 10.7 million live views in 2019. This was also made possible by the lockdown which saw everyone tunning to the platform.

Fortnite with the success has now set new tour dates for the Travis Scott Astronomical concert to cover fans in different time zones who were not able to tune in to the previously held virtual concert. The concert will be holding on this weekend 24th and 25th of April 2020.
