It’s Tresor’s golden moment, and his fans are happy for him. Yup. The songster’s third studio album, “Nostalgia,” has gone gold finally.
This 13-track compilation, which ambitiously fuses elements of house, Afro-pop and disco, makes for a musical experience that is at once inviting and pleasurable. The compilation featured artistes like AKA, Kwesta, Mafikizolo, Msaki, and The Soil.
Tresor himself announced his gold triumph in an Instagram post a few hours ago today 23 September 2020. He acknowledged tracks from the project have also achieved platinum certifications.
He thanked all those who worked with him on the project, which he calls timeless. Also, he announced a new single will be out this Friday (25 September 2020). Titled “Dancing With The Moon,” the song is already available for pre-order through this link.
By the way, when Vhudie charmed the “Idols SA” circuit with a rendition of his “my yoki Yoki” song, many had implored Tresor to work with the songster. It remains to be seen if a collaborative work between the two will pop online in the coming weeks.
