The Daily Show host Trevor Noah is unimpressed with Twitter algorithms that suggest posts from people he doesn’t follow instead of showing more post from people he follows.

He made this known in a recent tweet, wondering out loud about the point of following anyone if he should see most posts from people he doesn’t follow. He should as well not follow anyone and see them all. You can check out his tweet below.

Interestingly, most of his followers shared similar concerns about the platform, thinking the algorithms annoying, as they don’t get to see what they signed up for.

Twitter is navigating a period of great interest following Elon Musk’s interest in and bid for the microblogging platform. The centibillionaire would have completed the purchase of the forum, but many cogs popped in the wheel of his bid, including the proliferation of bots on the platform and Twitter’s reluctance to share details about the percentage of bots or automated accounts on the platform.
