Trevor Noah To Host Prime Video Comedy Show “LOL: Last One Laughing”

Trevor Noah has been announced as the new host of the popular comedy show LOL: Last One Laughing. Prime Video South African made the announcement.

The choice of Trevor Noah does not come as a surprise for many viewers at all because, as far as they are concerned, he merits the position. However, there is grumbling in the background over the prize.

Two comedians are expected to compete on the platform for a prize of R1 million, which would go to charity. The show, which originated in Japan but has spread to about 20 other countries, will officially take off in South Africa next year – 2024. So those who want to get in have about a year to prepare before the show proper.

Trevor Noah previously served as the host of The Daily Show and grew the audience of the platform, earning accolades globally, It will be interesting to see how he would handle his new assignment, However, given the excellency of his previous hosting gigs, his fans are already confident he would go off like a grenade on the LOL platform.
