Months into the worldwide pandemic, many have chosen not believe that the Coronavirus is real and not something exaggerated by the media. R&B star, Trey Songz has now come out to state that he has tested positive for the virus.
On Tuesday, September 6, the “Bottoms Up” star shared a video revealing how he found out about his status. According to him, he has been in protests and doing food drives, which made him always take a test to know his status. Sadly, the most recent one came back positive.
The singer revealed that he had always taken the virus seriously, and urged his followers to do the same. He went on to say that he’s been very careful because of his young son. However, with the positive result, he will be self-quarantining. He will be in his house until he sees a positive sign.
He further noted that more than 7.5million Americans have been affected by the virus, and 210,000 had died, and urged his fans to wash their hands and wear a mask. Trey is also readying his album “Back Home” for release on Friday, October 9th. The album is expected to feature several artists including Swae Lee, Davido and more.
