Tshepo Matlala On His Class Clown Role In “Youngins”

The world is topsy-turvy enough for most people to want to forget a lot of things and just have a good time in a space of humour. That space can be anything, from a joint to a series or flick if you please.

Enter South African actor Tshepo Matlala to give the people exactly the humorous break they crave. The youngster is part of the series “Youngins,” which has long captured the attention of the viewing public.

He played the role of a clown and charmed the audience so much with his acting that many of them wanted to know more about him and what it feels like to play the role he did in “Youngins.”

Well, he was more than ready to oblige them here. He recalled similarities between his days at school and the storyline his character played.

In his words, “In school, we used to have a feeding scheme. Our Arts and Culture teacher is teaching, and it’s about to be 12 o’clock.”  He was like, the teacher was eating his time, since it was around the same period he should have a lunch break. What next? He tucked his empty plate under his jersey, ready to leave.

A man must eat.
