Tweeps Question Nasty C’s Best Hip Hop Nomination For ‘Lemons Lemonade’

Mzansi tweeps are questioning Nasty C’s Best Hip Hop artist nomination for “Lemons (Lemonade)” without AKA.

Last year, AKA gave us one of the best songs in the country. The joint was felt everywhere, not only for its memorable hook but also for Nasty C’s verse. We had always wanted a collaboration between Supa Mega and the Coolest Kid on the continent.

Finally, we got exactly what we needed. Nasty C delivered. He even scored himself a nomination for Best Hip Hop artist for the song at the SoundCity MVP Awards. A fan shared a flier of the nomination urging tweeps to vote for him.

However, Mzansi tweeps questioned the nomination. They wondered why Nasty was nominated for Best Hip Hop artist on a joint he isn’t the main owner. Some asked why AKA wasn’t. Many tweeps argued that it could be because of his verse on the song, while others complained about Nasty C being written as the song owner.
