South African politician Mmusi Maimanne has made fun of the ruling African National Congress (ANC), insinuating that the party’s latest T-shirt stole from the logo of the Mercedes Benz AMG.
He made this known in a post on his official X account. In the said post, he tagged the ruling party and asked them if they were not complaining about copyright infringement.

The post resonated with many South Africans, who joined in the comment section, laughing at the expense of the ruling party which is hoping to retain power during the elections this year.
By the way, the similarity Mmusi Maimanse referenced in the post was the stripes that came before the ANC. They were the same as used before AMG. An X user also referenced that with a picture, which is available right here.
