Tweezy Shares A Story of How Pop Smoke Inspired The Creation of ‘Amademoni’ Single By Cassper

Tweezy shares how Amademoni was created.

South African rapper and record producer, Tweezy, has shared a story of how late American rapper, Pop Smoke, inspired the creation of Cassper Nyovest’s recently-released single ‘Amademoni.’

South African hip hop was shaken with a new hit from no other than the multi-award-winning rapper, Cassper Nyovest, featuring rapper and producer, Tweezy.

The brand new single has been praised by lovers of hip hop and is currently trending on streets and airwaves. Tweezy has decided to relate to his fans about the new single and what inspired the creation.

When the hit single ‘Amademoni’ was released, several people quickly assumed that the rappers had sampled some songs, which include that of Pop Smoke. The rappers have admitted that Pop Smoke actually inspired the creation of the song. However, they did not sample Pop’s music. ‘Amademoni’ is more like a tribute to the late rapper.

Tweezy wrote:

No we did not “Bite” Pop Smoke’s Dior or any other joint. No we didn’t hear anyone’s song previously released and get inspired to replicate that. We just executed our own idea very well…& the result is a smash hit tribute to Pop Smoke for inspiring us.

The popular record producer also revealed what gave out the idea of the hit single. A part of Tweezy’s thread read:

As a great fan of the UK Drill and Chicago drill sound, I made this beat as a tribute to him in a “The return of the GOAT” series of my beat snippets.
