Social media platform Twitter is always an interesting place to be when there’s something huge happening online and we were not disappointed after the platform went agog following the crowning of Sasha-Lee Olivier as the new Miss SA.
Zozibini Tunzi won the coveted prize but having won the Miss Universe award, she had to relinquish the SA crown but fans are still not happy and made that crystal clear.
Some fans called for Zozibini Tunzi to continue in her role while others explained that it was only normal for her to vacate the SA crown for the Universe crown.
A fan on Twitter wrote:
I don’t recognize sosha Lee. Zozi is and will remain our miss South Ah. She can run this country from the towers of New York City, she just needs advice and counsel of his excellency president muhammadu Buhari.

While there are some who are unhappy about the Sosha win, others have continued to root for her at least in the best interest of South Africa and the entertainment industry at large.
I Honestly did not expect such backlash regarding Sasha-lee being Miss SA , i was under the impression that people knew the pageant rules and that one cannot reign using 2 titles simultaneously, Zozi will always be the best Miss SA, a game changer, a trailblazer but dont do this.
