There is a lot of rejoicing happening right now in Shauwn Mkhize and Andile Mpisane’s camp right now following their recent nominations at the fourth Annual Hollywood African Prestigious Awards 2020. This is huge news for them.
Their reality show, “Kwa Mam’mkhize” is up for “Best reality tv show”, while Andile is nominated in the “Best new independent African artists” and “Best new male independent African music video” categories. Reacting to the news, Andile revealed it came as a huge surprise to him because it is only his first year in the music industry.
He also revealed that it proves that his dream of taking Gqom to the world and also being an advocate to your SA and African artists are valid. However, Twitter users are shocked by the nominations. In their opinion, a lot of them have either not heard his music or know him even.
