TxC Take The ‘Amapiano Experience’ To The World’s Biggest Stage, The FIFA World Cup

TxC JET OFF TO DOHA & TAKE THE ‘AMAPIANO EXPERIENCE’ TO THE FIFA WORLD CUP™

Performance alongside Lil Baby set as TxC duo take the world’s biggest stage

With the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ having kicked-off on Sunday, South African artists, TxC, jet off to Qatar this week for two career-defining performances on the world’s biggest stage, to take place during World Cup™ Festivities in Doha and Dubai.

As an official partner of the FIFA World Cup™, Budweiser is providing the opportunity for TxC to shine on a global stage, bringing the ‘Amapiano Experience’ to the BUD World Club, in Doha, as part of a star-studded line-up that includes American rapper Lil Baby, Côte d’Ivoire’s Suspect 95 and Zambian Hip-Hop artist, Slapdee, on December 3rd.

Following that performance, the Amapiano duo will then headline with a sunset performance at the BUDX FIFA Fan Fest, at picturesque Dubai Harbour, on December 4th.

The BUD World Club will be the premiere late-night venue in Doha during the month-long tournament and the high-energy venue will transcend borders and cultures, bringing fans together to revel in their shared passion for football and music.

The BUDX FIFA Fan Fest in Dubai, meanwhile, presents an experience designed to be the closest fans can get to the FIFA World Cup™, including cutting-edge technology, an unrivalled atmosphere, and a state-of-the-art venue, up until the final on December 18th.

“We’ve worked so hard for this moment, and we hope that our fans are similarly inspired to take their own journey towards seizing greatness and pursuing their dreams. It’s all possible!  This is such an exciting time for us and we’re going to make South Africa proud,” said Tarryn and Clairise, aka TxC.

Renowned for their music styling, signature dance moves and independent attitude, Tarryn and Clairise have quickly become Mzansi’s favourite female DJ duo, breaking barriers and helping shape Amapiano culture in SA and globally, and the world is undoubtedly theirs to take as they head to Doha.

“This is such an important moment for South Africa and Amapiano to be part of the world’s greatest sporting experience. We couldn’t be prouder of TxC in being part of the BUD family and helping to spread the culture at such an important moment,” said Thomas Lawrence, High-End Marketing Manager, Budweiser South Africa.

Following their debut in 2021, TxC swiftly cemented a reputation for dropping the coolest Amapiano sets, combining an awesome playlist with highly charged dance moves which have impacted dance culture around the world. Recent epic performances include Manchester’s largest Afrofusion Coko Festival alongside Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage and Fireboy. Meanwhile their trail-blazing “Fierce Piano World Tour” has also garnered critical praise for outstanding club performances in the UK, Switzerland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Portugal, and Belgium.
