Fans react as Grammy winner Tyla is seen with Amapiano star DJ Maphorisa.

Mzansi is out to protect Tyla at all costs. The famous singer has made the country proud by becoming the younger African artist ever to win a Grammy. She won the first-ever “Best African Music Performance” category, beating out competitors like Davido, Musa Keys, Asake, Ayra Starr, and more.

While the singer celebrates her win, fans have rallied around her to ward off anyone they believe would want to take advantage of her. Tyla was recently spotted in a video with DJ Maphorisa, drawing concern from her fans.

Although the video dates back to Kabza De Small and Maphorisa’s show in London in 2022, fans have voiced their concern. This is because of comments made by Porry about owning songs recorded in his studio. He said,

“When you record music on my computer, my studio, with my electricity. That sh*t is mine. It belongs to me. You must understand when you work in someone’s studio, that sh*t is not yours.”

While Porry and Tyla have done two songs together, fans warned her to be careful of the Piano DJ. A fan wrote, “Don’t eat the Nandos Tyla!! Use your own laptop, electricity and microphone.”
