The songstress has been on a roll recently thanks to the massive success of her song “Water,” which has not only earned her impressive Spotify stats but also the attention of many important musicians around the world, including the Canadian Drake.
For the BET award mentioned earlier, the songstress us nominated alongside her Nigerian counterpart Ayra Starr.

The news of her nomination provoked jubilation among fellow South Africans, who were more than chuffed to see one of their own being recognised on the international music plane. Of course, a nomination does not automatically translate to a win. But then, Mzansi is optimistic one of its own will lead the day.
