UFC Middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis stunned as a singer on The Masked Singer South Africa.
What can’t Dricus du Plessis do? While he is one of the toughest athletes in the world, the UFC Middleweight champion has shown that he can also go head to head with the biggest singers in the world.
He was recently unmasked as Wildebeest on the latest episode of “Masked Singer South Africa.” Mzansi was stunned to see that it was him behind the mask as a result of his singing talent. Wildebeest gained love from fans when he opened the second season of the singing contest five weeks ago singing “Let Me Entertain You” bh Robbie Williams.
J’Something, Somizi Mhlongo, Sithelo Shozi and Skhumba Hlophe all fished for ideas to figure out who he was. He even hinted at having something in common with the CEO of SpaceX and that his family roots are in the land of the croissants. Unfortunately, they couldn’t tell.
Du Plessis said his time on the show was “so much fun.”
“I love music. I sing a lot in the shower, and I sing a lot in the car, so I thought, ‘let me get out of my comfort zone and take this car singing to the world’. And I loved being Wildebeest. It was a spot-on outfit for me.”
