Popular South African singer, Rethabile Khumalo, was recently involved in a car accident. It caused her to be taken to a hospital.
Rethabile Khumalo is the daughter of Winnie Khumalo who is popularly known for providing vocals on DJ Zinhle’s hit song titled ‘Umlilo.’
The talented singer is grateful to be alive after her involvement in a serious car accident.
Her mother, Winnie Khumalo, sought prayers from South Africans for the speedy recovery of her daughter. She took to Twitter to announce that Rethabile Khumalo has been involved in a car accident and was ‘badly hurt.’
Winnie Khumalo wrote:
Hi, friends. I would like to inform you that Rethabile was in a car accident and she is badly hurt. Your prayers will be highly appreciated.
Confirming the news, Rethabile said that she did not sustain serious injuries even though she has been hurt in the accident.
She said:
I will be fine. I don’t want to into details of the accident as it traumatised me. I luckily wasn’t badly injured. I suffered some bruises on my face that might leave scarring but I will be fine. Please let my fans know that I will be fine. I am out of hospital.
On Monday night, Rathabile Khumalo displayed how she strong she is as she performed on Joox with bandages.
Another celebrity who recently got involved in a car accident is Sbahle Mpisane. The fitness bunny was able to walk without crutches since her 2018 accident in March.
