Amid the war in Eastern Europe and in the Middle East – wars that have snagged the attention of millions worldwide – it appears like a moment of fresh air with the opportunity to laugh thanks to LOL (Last One Laughing), a reality show with Trevor Noah and other celebs.
But who are these celebs? Well, Jason Goliath gave us insights into their identity in a recent Instagram post. A look through the list shows that they are not exactly strangers but people whom Trevor Noah has associated with in one way or the other in the past.
The celebs on the list include actress Nomzamo Mbatha, Lasizwe, Celeste Ntuli, Glen Biderman-Pam, Thando Thabethe, Mojak, Tumi Morake, Moonchild Sanelly, and Robby Collins.
But what exactly is LOL? LOL: Last One Laughing is a reality show that will run for six seasons. The show provides a platform for celebs to remain serious – you know, keep a straight face – while attempting to make their opponents laugh. The celeb who laughs in the course of the exercise is eliminated.
The series is unscripted and comes with a grand prize of R1 million. The money goes not to the winning celeb but to the celeb’s charity of choice
