Mzansi rejoices as US actor Malik Yoba shares cozy moments with media star Claire Mawisa.
Malik Yoba is currently in SA for the Johannesburg Film Festival and recently linked up with Claire Mawisa. A video of them, shared by the American actor, had SA talking.
ZiMoja reports that Claire shared that their first meet-up was at the Kaya959 offices. She said they never got to speak.
“He came to the Kaya FM building as one of the producers had booked him for an interview. We never spoke, and nobody introduced us. He was explaining to somebody that he saw somebody in South Africa with dreadlocks, really beautiful. The girl was like, ‘Is it Claire? And he was like, ‘I don’t know. Then she googled my face, [and asked] ‘Is this her?’ And he’s like, ‘Oh my goodness, that’s her, added the former SABC1 presenter.”
Yoba shares a video of them in honour of International Women’s Day. The video showed the events they attended together. He attached an appreciation post which read;
