Love is a beautiful experience, but sometimes it doesn’t go the way people wish or dream of it. This has been the reality of American singer Usher, who at some point in his life was immersively in love with Chilli.
This Chilli is not pepper but a member of the girl band TLC. This collective was prominent in the 90s and treated the audience then with several memorable numbers. These days, not much is heard about the group. But Chilli is still pretty “hot” thanks to Usher’s recent revelation.
In an interview, the RnB icon shared a love about himself. It was a candid dpill of the personal and the deep during which time he also dwelled on his relationship with Chilli.
According to the songster, he was deeply in love with her. And to show how seriously he wanted them to be together, he made the biggest move during their relationship: He asked her to marry him.
Of course, given that they were in a relationship at the time. the expectation was that she would excitedly say “yes” to his request. But Chilli turned him down. Usher was heartbroken.
His life took a different turn. It wasn’t until years later that he was able to spill that out in detail.
