Anyway, the songstress has now shared the real reason her relationship with the “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” singer ended.
Most musicians are known to share aspects of their lives and relationships through their music. Cabello did the same, about her failed relationship with the Canadian singer, with the music video of her song “La Buena Vida.”
Part of the lyrics reads, “I woke up happy by accident. I forgot you were gone again.” This might indicate that Shawn was an absent lover who didn’t give Camila all the attention she craved.
The chorus actually affirmed this suspicion, as it reads: “I’m forgetting what it’s like to wake up next to you, and this is what I’m going through.”
Being all to herself almost always, with her lover and his warmth nowhere to be found, was pretty depressing.
It was only a matter of time before she said, “enough!” And moved on.
