A day to his birthday and the launch of his Billiato alcohol brand, Cassper Nyovest has spoiled himself with a McLaren. If you’re surprised by this purchase, then you haven’t been paying attention.
Earlier this year, on a trip within Mzansi, the Family Tree boss had driven around in a hired McLaren and commented on the excellence of the whip, while maintaining that he loves his Bentley.
Clearly, the charm of the McLaren was too much for the “Doc Shebeleza” hitmaker not to consider buying it.
In a recent post to Instagram, he had shown off the car, noting that it was the product of the cheddar he made from his partnership with Drip Footwear which led to the making of his Root of Fame sneaker brand.
He thanked the dealership for delivering the car on time for the launch of Billiato and also thanked God for his faithfulness.
With this purchase, Cassper Nyovest joins the elite league of celebs who own a McLaren.
One such owner is Connie Ferguson. Her husband Shona had bought it for her to celebrate her birthday.
Another owner of the exotic whip is, wait for it, Amanda du-Pont, an actress whom Cassper Nyovest had once dated.
It might interest you that the McLaren is not exactly Cassper’s dream car. Or perhaps it’s just one of them. In the coming months, Cass will most likely add a red Ferrari to his collection. That’s the dream. Mark my words.
Fun Fact: Cass already owns a Bentley and a Rolls Royce.
