Did Kanye West throw a shade at his wife Kim Kardashian during his BET award appearance? Well, many people think so.
The “Donda” rapper had made a surprise appearance during the award, rocking dark shades, a facemask and a face cap, literally covering his face. But that was not what exactly got peeps talking.
Ye, on the stage to honour P Diddy with a Lifetime Achievement Award, joked that he’s looked up to the rapper for a long time and will continue to do so. “I go to [Diddy] for advice to this day,” he noted laconically.
He went on to say that the rapper inspires many of his choices as well as his (ex)wife Kim Kardashian’s choices. “And here we are — thanks for that, Puff,” he concluded.

The joke wasn’t lost on the audience, which erupted in laughter over what was said. As you probably already know, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are no longer together. The former had hitched up with comedian Pete Davidson.
For his part, Ye has explored almost half a dozen relationships since his split with Kim.
