[Video] It’s “Epilogue” For Daft Punk As The Group Splits

For Daft Punk, the curtain falls. It’s one “Epilogue” many didn’t see coming, especially as the group has managed to stay together for eighteen years.

Made up of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, Daft Punk had an exciting musical odyssey until the announcement of the breakup of the band. The group had released four studio albums, the last being “Random Access Memories.” It won a Grammy in the in the Album of the Year category.

News of the group’s split started trending yesterday. Although the group’s longtime publicist Kathryn Frazier confirmed the split to newsmen, she failed to give details regarding the split.

Daft Punk formally said farewell to working as a group under the Daft Punk name n a video appropriately titled “Epilogue.”  It is a farewell many had not envisaged and really do not want to hear about – except via the death of group members. But the Parisian duo has mad their decision and the world has got to respect it.

By the way, social media is currently split discussing the band’s breakup.
