The secretary general of the ruling African National Congress (ANC) Fikile Mbalula found himself trending on social media after a clip of him donating R200k to a church surfaced online.
in the said clip, the politician could be seen addressing his audience and then making the donation to the church.
The reactions to him making the donation to the church have been pretty mixed, with some South Africans criticising him over the donation and some wondering why he should give “public funds” to a church when the said sum could have been used to better the lot of people generally.

This is one of several times when the ANC honcho has faced scrutiny over his actions. Previously, he had social media buzzing over the way he held and danced with Nkosazana Daughter during an ANC event, with many claiming his action was inappropriate.
Well, time will tell whether he will listen to his critics.
