It’s a season of nostalgia and ecstasy for the fans of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air following the announcement the flick is getting a reboot.
Part of the old guard of the flick, including Will Smith, Tatyana Ali and DJ Jazzy Jeff, showed up for the premiere of the reboot.
In the reboot, Jabari banks will play the role Will Smith used to play. It’s all good energy from Will Smith’s side, as he took to Instagram to show love to the bloke who’s taken over the role he used to play.
In a video posted to his Instagram page, Will Smith had shown himself and old cast members passing the torch to new cast members. In the caption, he noted that passing never looked so good. You can check out the clip below.
in a follow-up post, he’d specifically shouted out Jabari Banks as a brilliant actor, noting he cannot wait for everyone to see the younger man’s brilliance this Sunday when the reboot of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air would premiere.
The joke out there is that the likes of Jabari Banks, Akira Akbar and Jimmy Akingbola will now the playing the roles or actors they used to watch on television.
