Vth Season Owner Raphael Benza has reacted to claims that the label signed Cassper Nyovest after AKA’s death.
News of Cassper Nyovest’s alleged partnership with Cassper Nyovest has dominated social media, and fans of the Megacy are outraged. It all started from a tweet from Vth Season, which read,
“Cassper in Kampala next Month at @blanketsandwineug .. For Africa Wide bookings for all African Talent, pls contact…. Bookings@vthseason.com. Tours, Shows and Concerts…!!! #Africabookings.” It gave the impression that the label had signed Cass and was helping promote his work.
However, a tweet by Vth Season Owner Raphael Benza will hopefully clarify the impression. He revealed that the label had neither signed Cass nor were they working with him. He called Cassper a talented artist with a capable team and urged Mzansi not to get distracted. This seems to prove that the label is not associated with Nyovest. The tweet may have just been misleading.
