Love is as beautiful as can be between couples – until things go south. At that point, hitherto dormant aspects of their personalities are activated and they may even fight dirty openly, no matter what the public might think about their actions.
So far this has been the case with celebrated speaker and entrepreneur Vusi Thembekwayo and his estranged wife. Hitherto a couple may younglings look up to, The couple’s relationship has dissolved in acrimony, with accusations and counter-accusations reverberating now and then.
While Vusi’s wife accuses him of assault and battery, the businessman denies the accusation but instead claimed that his wife sometimes abuses drugs. For revealing his wife’s allegedly battled with drugs publicly, he was roundly condemned.
The latest war between them, though, involves a R4 million property. Palesa and her estranged husband are fighting over the sale of their vacant lad in the plush Steyn City in Johannesburg.
The speaker had reportedly dragged his wife to court for refusing to sign an offer to sell the property to a client who wanted to pay R3.6 million for it. The couple bought the property in 2017 when they were still together and happy in their marriage.
But with the property on the verge of being reposed by the bank (FNB) for not keeping up with the instalments, Vusi decided to sell it.
