Watch AKA Talk Current Relationship With Burna Boy & His Success

Kiernan “AKA” Forbes has been in the industry for about a decade and has had many experiences too. Some of them formed the bases of his conversation with the podcast The Episode.

A while back, the songster, who had collaborated with the Nigerian singer Burna Boy, fell out with him after he advised black foreigners living in South Africa to defend themselves amid the wave of xenophobic violence engulfing the country.

He had also asked AKA in a now-deleted to beef up his security. The two appeared to be beefing afterwards. But all that appeared to have been resolved following the Nigerian’s appearance in South Africa, where he performed at the Delicious Festival.

An AKA fan had noted that he wished the songster would link up with Burna Boy again for them to do a duet (perform the song that they had released earlier). In response to the fan, AKA had noted that he had no issues with the Nigerian, whom he called “brother.”

He also spoke about how he feels about his success and other issues.

By the way, AKA is currently one of the top voices in South African rap. He recently released a song titled “Lemons (Lemonade)” in collaboration with Nasty C.
