Social media users may have commented that Kamo Mphela was living the life they had envisaged for Babes Wodumo, but the “Gqom Queen” isn’t taking things personally; instead, she has shared a clip of herself and Kamo rocking the dance floor.
Kamo Mphela was in London for the Amapiano Festival (AmaFest) and fans were so impressed they thought that was actually what Babes Wodumo should be doing.
From the look of things, the “Wololo” hitmaker, who really recently gave birth to a son called Sponge, doesn’t care about the public’s opinion about her place in music right now. Instead, she’d rather share the good spirit.
That much is evident from the recent clip of her and Kamp Mphela heating the dance floor with their feet. It’s unknown when the clip was taken, but the message is clear enough: Babes Wodumo would not want anything to stand in the way of her relationship with the “SBWL” singer, who recently expressed her desire to meet Canadian rapper Drake.
Babes Wodumo, a leading figure in South Africa’s gqom universe, is reportedly working on an amapiano song with Kamo Mphela. Talks of a collaboration have been on for months, but no song is out from them yet.
