It was to have been a harmless moment with Cyan Boujee showing off her deejaying skills, but it turned out netizens were unimpressed with the clip she shared and they mocked her over the same.

In the said clip, the controversial DJ could be seen at the decks charming out the music for what appears to be a party audience, he was having a good time, and so were the people in attendance.

However, when the clip surfaced online, many South Africans were unimpressed. Instead, they lashed out at Cyan Boujee for lacking originality and for copying Uncle Waffles, a notable female DJ who is already famous for her electric performances.

Uncle Waffles had risen to fame when a clip of her vibing to the singer Young Stunna’s “Adiwele” tune went viral. She has been on the rise ever since, has toured Africa and has seemingly imprinted her name in the consciousness of South Africans.
