It is often said that when you are good at what you do, doors are likely to open to you and you are bound to meet people that you might not met otherwise, Examples of this reality abound. But our latest example comes from South Africa’s Senzo Radebe.
He recently had an encounter with the British Queen Camilla. But the biggest deal for him was probably the queen admitting that she not only loves dance but is a big fan of “Strictly Come Dancing.”
Radebe, a dance champ and Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) supporter, was having a beginner’s dance class alongside Tasha Ghour when the queen, who has served as President of the RVS since 2012, visited.
It was an unexpected visit and one that seemingly thrust Radebe into the spotlight. After all, not everyone gets to meet the British Queen every day. So, for many, it is an honour when she not only shows up but also indicates interest in the activities they are engaged in.
Bot surprisingly, Radebe’s name buzzed across South Africa following the meeting with the queen and her admission of being a fan of something that Radebe is associated with. Some encounters and memories are forever.
