At a time when the life expectancy is below 60, it is all shades of gratifying to not only pass that number but to make it to 81. Now, who in that position wouldn’t be happy and celebrate that milestone? South Africa’s former president Jacob Zuma is the man in the picture here. Msholozi recently turned 81, and the Rainbow Nation rolled out the drums to celebrate him.
Zuma is South Africa’s immediate past president, who lost his position Amid a storm of corruption allegations, including links to the Gupta family, against him. Cyril Ramaphosa had taken over from him, and it appears little friction between the former president and the current one erupts now and then.
But that is not enough to quench the enthusiasm over the former president’s 81st birthday — a milestone in every sense of the word. Not only is Zuma still physically fit, but he is also mentally alert.
Family and friends joined him for a memorable time as he celebrated his birthday. There was a cake to mark the occasion, easy laughter and banter, and the watering of memories. You can check out the clip below.
