Watch J. Cole Jump On A Beat From Drake’s “CLB”

J. Cole indirectly paid homage to the “Certified Lover Boy” Drake by rapping on the beat to the Canadian’s “Pipe Down” song. The song was part of Drake’s recently released sixth studio album mentioned earlier.

Presented as “Heaven’s EP,” Cole reflects on his life in the video directed by Simon Chasalow, mentioning the names of personalities whose lives and careers have somehow influenced him.

It isn’t all the time that J. Cole jumps on a beat by other musicians. But as should be apparent from his “Heaven’s EP,” the songster show knows how to snap the attention of his audience and retain the same until the end.

“Heaven’s EP” is not something you listen to and want to move away immediately from. The number draws you into its orbit again and again – a testament to J. Cole’s creative energy.  How long until the Dreamville chief hops on a beat by another notable rap figure? We can’t figure that out, but then we’ll be here to bring you the news.

Well, what do you think of J. Cole jumping on Drake’s “Pipe Down” song, and how would you rate the effort? You’re welcome to join the conversation by dropping your thoughts in the comment section.
