Watch Mamelodi Sundowns Players Celebrate African Football League Title Win With Their Kids

South African football club Mamelodi Sundowns pulled off a brilliant coup recently beating Wydad Casablanca over the weekend and clinching the African Football League title – the first to do so.

Their win was symbolic on many counts because, of one which was that they had lost their first leg against Wydad Casablanca 2-1 away.

Of course, such a symbolic win calls for great celebration – something the players were more than happy to indulge. Interestingly, the players did not just celebrate; they had their kids to celebrate with them as well, giving them kids memories to look back on when they became adults.

In their second leg against Wydad Casablanca, the South African side had Peter Shaulile and Aubrey Modiba to thank, as their goals ensured they lifted the cup, giving not just the team but South Africans as a whole a reason to celebrate. And celebrate did they!

Some players had their kids with them on the pitch after the match to celebrate the historic win. It was a beautiful site to behold, as you can see from the slides below. The pictures of players celebrating with their kids resonate with many South Africans, who joined in the celebration.
