We love how Africa has taken the world by storm this year. African artists from all parts of the continent and across various genres have taken international stages and gained recognition from the world.
The African Hip Hop scene was shown love on the BET Hip Hop Awards. Several rappers from various parts of the continent, including South Africa and Nigeria, were featured in a Rap Cypher, which everyone has been talking about for some time now.
Nigerian emcees A-Q and Kelechief brought their A-game on the cypher. We must say, they gave us some ear candy. A-Q is known for his joint “Agu Ji Ndi Men,” while Atlanta-based rapper Kelechief or Kelechi is best known for his EP “Loose Change.” Both artists are well-known in the Nigerian Hip Hop scene.
