South African singer Nomcemo was the center of attention as she performed during the closing ceremony of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.
The songstress was particularly excited about her as the choice for the closing ceremony of the international event. Taking to Instagram, she had noted that it was a proud moment for her to not only be representing her home country of South Africa but the entire African continent.

Nomcebo has been flying high since she gained serious attention with “Jerusalema,” a collaborative song with fellow south African Master KG. that number had become one of the most streamed South African songs on YouTube.
It had also opened the songstress to an international audience, a blessing she had sought all along from the inception of her music career.
Well, with the AFCON over, teams across the world are taking stock. But for Nomcebo it’s jubilation all the way, having clinched a career milestone by performing at the closing ceremony of the AFCON for the very first time.
