Tanzania’s top recording artist Diamond Platnumz has released the music video of his latest single “Gidi,” and you can stream here and now on UbeToo.
“Gidi” sounds so like giddy and, interestingly, it is most likely going to get you giddy with excitement. Given the charms and musical appeal of the man behind the song, that shouldn’t be surprising. Yup.
There’s nothing particularly new about the video, though. You still get to see a skimpily dressed lady vibing to the music alongside the celebrated singer – a recurring feature of almost all his videos. But that’s by the way.
The music video drops amid plans to release an extended play. The Tanzanian has been a tease about the imminent project, bidding fans guess its title. The guesses have been many, but it’s doubtful anyone has guessed right so far.
At any rate, “Gidi” might well pass for musical dessert – something fans should hold to while he completes work on the EP, which should be out on the first week of March.
