Gqom queen Babes Wodumo’s appeeal was evident once again, over the weekend, when fans literally begged her to perform. The songstress is heavily pregnant and apparently not suited for a vigorous performance. But fans were keen she should perform anyway.
Her husband Mampintsha was on the stage performing, with Babes Wodumo away from him, standing behind protective bars. Fans noticed her and urged her to perform. She took the mic from there but had to get to the stage to perform when fans insisted. See th clip below.
The songstress might be pregnant, but she’s not ignoring the party scene in South Africa. Just recently, she had showed up at DBN Gogo’s birthday bash and had a good time on the dance floor.
By the way, Babes Wodumo is among those who have somehow caught the amapiano fever. Not long ago, she had shared her interest in the genre and even noted she’d be collaborating with Kamo Mphela, one of the buzzing voices in the genre.
