Amapiano ace Samthing Soweto joined The Soil on stage for a musical rendition that drove some people to tears. It was a reunion many never thought would happen. But it did happen.
For context, Samthing Soweto was the fourth member of the group (The Soil). But he left over a contractual dispute, leaving the group with just three members.
At Ntsika’s show, however, Samthing Soweto had turned up and eventually ended up performing with his former band mates. It was a memorable moment not just for the singer but for those who know and love the group, from when Samthing Soweto was with them to when he left. Besides performing together, the group members also had an emotional hug. You can check out the clips below.

The songster may have left the group but hasn’t lagged musically. In fact, he’s doing pretty well as a solo artist, in high demand as a collaborator, and has got a dedicated fan base too.
What does the reunion performance indicate, though? It’s hard to say. But it’s almost impossible to see Samthing Soweto electing to join the group after these years. He’s already justly famous as a solo artist and still doing well. Not bad.
