You can never go wrong with Tems. This talented Nigerian female currently has the world in her grip, and she’s doing great and mighty things. Last month, in June, Tems appeared on Genius’ ‘Open Mic’ sessions where she performed a song from her EP “For Broken Ears”.
She performed “Higher”, and it was absolutely lit. The video of the performance already has over 73k views and counting, and we still can’t get enough of it. She previously dominated the airwaves with the singles “Damages”, and “The Key”. Each have been huge successes since they dropped.
Now, she’s currently making history alongside Afrobeats star, Wizkid on the song “Essence”. It became the first Nigerian song to debut in the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart. We hear it’s still going big. Check out the full video of Tems’ performance of “Higher” below.
