Maskandi ace Igcokama Elisha was performing on stage along with his team when a man, who appears to be an eager fan, jumped on stage. In the clip shared online, the fan made for the neck of the maskandi artiste and appeared to kiss him on the neck.
Taken by surprise, Igcokama Elisha had edged the man away with his elbow, and then his team had intervened, taking the man away from the stage. The maskandi ace continued his performance like nothing had happened.
In a post to Instagram thereafter, Elisha had shared a clip of the moment the fan stormed the stage and apparently kissed me. The caption to the post, which was written in Zulu, indicated that the fan had gone astray. You can check it out below.
This isn’t the first time a South African fan had jumped on stage for whatever reason and been kicked out. It has happened several times. During the Durban July in 2015, AKA had assaulted a fan that jumped on stage.
